Social Media Monster DEEP DIVE – Police Reports

In the interest of “bringing the receipts” as they say, the producers wanted to dispel any myths that the film is not accurate by presenting these Deep Dive extras. We obtained the St. Joseph, Missouri Police Reports relating to the incident and present them here. The names of people that did not wish to have their full names revealed have been obscured, but nothing else is modified from the police reports

Social Media Monster DEEP DIVE – the 2018 emails

In the documentary Social Media Monster, we showed highlights and screenshots from numerous emails, social media posts, and messages. In the interest of full disclosure, we present everything in context here, a chance to see that we are bringing the receipts with any accusations or statements made in the film.

We did a Sunshine request with the city of St. Joseph, Missouri and asked for any emails between Matthew Berdyck and city officials, including city council and the police department.

What we received was a document that was over 730 pages long of emails to and mostly from Matthew Berdyck from at least 3 different email addresses. Within the first few days, city officials stopped responding to Matthew. The internal affairs police officer responds a few times to Matthew’s requests, demands, and conspiracy theories.
